Guidelines for Authors


    All authors are requested to get to the Conference Rooms 30 minutes before the sessions in order to upload the presentation. A member from CEST2013 support team will check with them the good working order of their presentation supports.
    Time for oral presentations
    15 minutes is allocated to present your paper;

    Projection means
    Each room will be equipped with:
    - a projector
    - a fixed computer for direct projection. The computers are equipped with Windows and Microsoft Office 2007 or later versions (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access), with USB drives.

    Speakers who would like to use a special software or use their PC, should contact the Secretariat, at least 30 minutes before the session.


    There are poster sessions during the Conference:
    - on Thursday 5th of September
    - on Friday 6th of September
    - on Saturday 7th of September.

    Authors should be present close to their poster in order to talk about their work with the interested people.

    Panels will be at your disposal to support your poster.
    The poster should be 65 cm wide and 80 cm high -approx. 8 A4 pages).

  • Deadline for full paper submission: 10th of March 2013
  • Language: English
  • Length maximum 8 pages
  • The first page should include: title, name(s) of author(s) and affiliation(s), extended summary, key words
  • Submission as MS Word file.

Format guidelines

  • Paper size: A4 page - margins: top 2.6 cm, bottom 2.6 cm, left 2.8 cm, right 2.8 cm
  • Fonts: please use Arial fonts throughout the document
  • Spacing: single
  • Title: up to 3 lines, Arial 12 pt, Bold, caps, centered
  • Author(s) name(s): Arial 11 pt, Bold, caps, centered, "and" before last name. Corresponding author: underlined.
  • Affiliation: Arial 11 pt, centered, full postal address. E-mail address of corresponding author: optional
  • Key words: up to 2 lines, Arial 11 pt, fully justified
  • Headings: Arial 11 pt, caps, left justified
  • Main text: Arial 11 pt, fully justified. Do not intent paragraphs.
